Thanks Sue, My back was already hurting from painting all day Sat, then yesterday afternoon assembling a bed ( 50 pieces and a couple hundred assorted screws brackets and who knows what) for my grandson..
After the initial shock of falling I did start feeling my neck and other parts, probably wrenched a bit...Would have looked good on Funniest Video show, give people a laugh Have to work through it, things to do and places to go.

Goodness gracious, I never thought that word would have caused such controversy... Being just a touch over 5ft tall, I get called short a**e all the time, I never take offence at that. If I've done something rather clever, I don't mind when people call me smart a**e...
With all the fighting and bickering and name calling on WW, words flying back and forth, even if there are astericks, we know what they are saying, words that are SO much worse than the word I said and I only used that word to describe what happened to me... In my mind it wasn't foul or abusive language... in all the topics posted by me and all the comments I've put on here, I have NEVER said anything mean or nasty in any way...
Brian and everyone I have offended, I am sorry.....
Mac and everyone who stood up for me, I Thank you!!!!!
As for me... it's really put me off commenting ever again
Replied: 14th Feb 2012 at 13:10

jouell. dont take it to heart I,m sure no one was offended, I for one like reading your posts,so carry on friend, dont give up. I think maybe the fact that the word appeared in the header rather than the text may have prompted brian to delete it. I,m sure he had his reasons.

Well!! What I hadn't realised is that Brian had exercised his right to remove something that he thought was offensive , I thought at first that [removed, brian] was just a joke on jouell's part, I still think removal was an over reaction as the phrase is a common colloquialism in Wigan, I for one have heard it many a time but everyone to their own opinion!

How is it, that what Anthony said is ok, when it means the exact same thing I said, but mine was removed
I saw the same word ( as I said the other day)in an article in a British Daily paper today... It's ok to go in a Daily national newspaper, but mine was removed
Walshy said and it's true, there have been words a lot worse than mine, plus smutty pics and links but they're ok, whilst mine was removed
As Britboy said, the phrase I used is a very common colloquialism and I could have said what Maxine infered, but I didn't, but still I was removed... go figure that out
Never mind, it's given us all something to talk and laugh about..

Unfortunately, due to his predicament, he can only remove a shoe, which he gives her.
She runs to the nearest village, holding the shoe in such a way as to protect her modesty, and goes into the Police station.

there are far worse comments still on the site so i cant understand why them have been left on, a family site that is used by children, and something like that was removed
until that happens the site wont get any better which is a shame really

I was shopping with Jonathan Ross in Tesco earlier.
'Do you reckon it's possible to shoplift here?' I asked him.
'Oh yes,' he said.
'How?'
'Well, I've got a few Twix up my sleeve.'

Anyone find a picture of a sheep with a blue spot on its back?
Not that I lost one, you understand.

February explanation, please, Dostaf.
Replied: 17th Feb 2012 at 17:10
You would!
Erm! This is a bit tricky, as it involves animal husbandry and the breeding of sheep.
Emmerdale farm stuff I suppose, so here goes:
A tup is a male sheep. This noun lends itself to a verb.
Ewes that have successfully mated have a mark on their backs left by a a device fixed to a tup's belly.
This then lets a farmer know at a glance which ewes have, or haven't met the tup.

Replied: 17th Feb 2012 at 17:31
Ooops. Silly me.
It is quite possible that the mester had a n alternative meaning in mind. though it doesn't appear here.
If so, apologies mester.
If not, you're a wrong un.

Most educational.
Even if it has bugger all to do with the original topic.
Can I say/type that?

Americans could be forgiven for thinking it's a word most English people often say, given the English characters in American films often say it.
